While meeting the youth from Kyengera sub county in Wakiso district last weekend, Ssegona advised the youth “to mobilise themselves into groups with a well-established leadership which can approach us the political leaders, so that we can help them by bringing facilitators to provide them with more entrepreneur skills and knowledge”.
“I will not give out handouts to all of you but I will help those with ideas and skills concerning the starting up of profitable business ventures,” added Ssegona.
Ssegona gave them an example of bricklaying business which can be started with little capital but once well managed, pays alot.
He also cited an example of Mr. Nkoobe, a resident of Mugongo Kyengera parish, who managed to educate his children to a degree level with the savings he made from selling bricks.
The MP concluded by advising people not to minimise jobs in case they want to prosper and become successful.
