“I first saw Njuba in April 1982 in Nairobi where we were both exiles. He started the struggle for peace in this country in the early years of the Amin regime where he was detained for long in Makindye go downs. He was the man who persuaded me to put down my tools as a doctor at Aga khan hospital where I was working and asked me to join the liberation struggle for peace.”

“Most people have talked about Njuba’s political life which has relived some of my grief. So, I would like to describe the other side of my husband that he has been looking after a real African extended family of which he has been feeding us very well. We have had misunderstandings which are not marital but we have been able to solve them and we have been leaving a happy life.”
