They are all suspected to have murdered Mubangizi Derrick, 19 years, a resident of Nkanga cell Ndere parish, Ruhinda sub county Rukungiri district, who was a casual labourer at Musimenta’s farm.
Matte noted that Musimenta who is a key suspect accused the deceased of stealing his sheep which prompted him to beat the boy to death.
“After the murder, the deceased’s body was put in a vehicle registration number UAH 227F with an intention of concealing it,” Matte explained.
“After a tip off by the deceased’s wife, police swung into action and found the vehicle in Rwenkurijo cell in Buyanja,” Matte added.
He said post-mortem was done and police investigations are ongoing to make sure the suspects dance to the tune of the law.
