Consta, in his Subaru N10, went in this rally that officially closed the FMU long route calendar, after promising his fans that any failure to finish this rally would see him order a new car for the next season.
This was the first time for Consta to finish a rally this year alongside his navigator Musa Nsubuga.
Nsubuga seems to command real experience after formerly navigating for senior driver, Ponsiano Lwakataka.
Of all the 28 drivers that made it to the starting line, only 10 drivers made it to the finishing line despite organisers having successfully organised rally.
“Thank God we are done we this rally without an injury. Sorry for our friends that have not made it to the finish line but hopefully they have enjoyed the rally,” said one of the FMU officials after the rally.
