She Cranes is expected back in the country on Monday morning and Jasper Aligawesa, the National Council of Sports general secretary, will welcome the team.

NCS is yet to reveal exactly what She Cranes will be rewarded with.

Uganda netball federation president, Suzan Anek, left the country for Singapore on Thursday with money that was given to the team by president Museveni.

At the request of Speaker Rebecca Kadaga, president Museveni gave She Cranes Shs 102 million

She Cranes missed a flight to Singapore on Friday due to scarcity of funds.

As a result, each player had to pay $152 for herself to meet the expenses of re-scheduling the flight and as of now, it is not clear if the Federation has refunded them or not.
