The headmaster Kabale secondary school, Mr. Edwin Nuwagaba Babimpa also hailed the government for the financial support given to the school where a total of Shs 7.6 billion was received for renovation and expansion of the school to help urban poor access secondary school education.
Babimpa, however, appealed to the government to allocate more resources to the school since there is shortage of teachers where he said the school has got a total of 1,000 students at the hands of only 65 teachers.
“Only 31 teachers are on pay role which calls for local recruitment which waters down the policy of free Universal Secondary Education,” Babimpa noted.
