KCC who are third currently in the league with 27 points, want a win against Simba to gain table lead until the league resumes for the 2nd round in a couple of weeks to come.
Simba will be playing without their head coach, Fred Kajoba, who is in Nairobi with the national team, The Cranes for the Gotv CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup but John Kayanja will lead the team.
However, KCC on the other hand, will miss out on the services of defender Ibrahim Kiiza and midfielder Brian Majwega who are in Kenya with the national team.
KCC FC coach, George Nsimbe, who was given an ultimatum of winning three games in row to save his job, is now on a lump of making it after helping the club to win the last two games against BUL and URA 1-0, 3-2 respectively.
“Strikers have not been at their best as regards scoring during the games in the league but hopefully, with the home advantage, they will be in place to help the team,” said Nsimbe.
If Simba wins today’s game, it will retain its 10th position on the table with 20 points.
After this game, each club will have played all the 15 games of the first round in the FUFA Super League.
