“The government of Uganda has failed to translate the constitution of Uganda into local languages as indicated in the constitution that it will be interpreted such that people can easily understand,” Batanyenda pointed out.

He also observed that the rampant increase of unemployment and corruption is a result of failure to interpret the Constitution since many people don’t know that there is a law against such wrong acts.

The officer in charge of Police Standard Unit for Kigezi region, Assistant Superintendent of police, Isaac Mugisha denied all allegations that police is corrupt saying people tend to seduce them when they are in wrong acts.


“Police is there to implement laws which are made by parliament but when we arrest suspects who are not proved guilty, we release them because its their right,” Mugisha said.
