Diego and Okwi missed out on yesterday’s training as they suffered from malaria and lib pain, respectively.

However, the team doctor says that he is working hard for the two to be available for tomorrow’s game.

“Two team players fell sick but I think they will be available for tomorrow’s game. Actually, they have a difference as compared to yesterday’s situation, and their condition gives hope,” said a source in the camp.

Since cranes had a chance to access the Nairobi City stars ground for training, Micho had to test Gor Mahia’s Daniel Sserunkuma and Vipers’ Joseph Mpande to ascertain their partnership when they face Rwanda on Friday.

Mpande is so confident that he will take on any role that may be assigned to him by the coach during the competition.

“Sorry for our brother but since we are twenty; any role can be assigned to one of us at the pitch. I think I can play as a striker or midfielder as long as I have been assigned to do it,” said Mpande who is making his second appearance in the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.
