“If we save the little we have and don’t spend it on luxuries, the savings would help us in the future if invested properly,” Muhwezi stressed.

Muhwezi also showed an example by buying shares in the Sacco worth Shs 5 million.

The Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese, Rt. Rev Patric Tugumetusingwire also urged church leaders to be exemplary to their flock and buy shares from the Sacco which will help them in the future when they retire from active church service.

Bishop Tugumetusingwire commended the executive of the Sacco for the work done in the period of two years when the project was started as a scheme and now has developed to turn into a Sacco.

The chairman of the Sacco, Rev. Can. Beigana Eric Mugyezi disclosed that the Sacco now has a capital of over Shs 20 million and called for more membership through the buying of shares.
