The scuffle followed the proposed impeachment of Kisoro district speaker, http://communique-de-presse-gratuit.com/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php Amos Hakizimana, who at the end actually got kicked out on Monday.
MP Kamara and his gang were in the course intercepted by the heavily deployed anti-riot police under the command of the Kisoro district police commander, Otim Bosco.
The MP was protesting a council meeting chaired by Issa Gumonye the commissioner representing minister of local government Adolf Mwesige saying it was illegal since High Court Civil Division in Kampala was set to hear a petition early in the morning regarding the issue.
Kamara also presented a letter from Jambo and Co. advocates but the Kisoro Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Asuman Masereka rejected it which angered Kamara and he started throwing words.
The Kisoro district speaker’s problems started early last month after a cross section of councillors petitioned the LC 5 chairperson seeking to kick him out of office accusing him of alleged abuse of office and incompetence.
Issa Gumonye accepted to chair the meeting which saw 21 Councillors vote in favour of his impeachment with only 7 voting against it.
Hakizimana has been replaced by Expedito Byensi, the district councillor representing Nyakabande sub county.
