URA Turns Axe On Amateur Players

“We want to be crowned champions but we can’t do it with players who have intentions and missions that are totally different from those of a club,” said a URA official.

According to this official, the targeted include senior players “whom I can’t mention but are working hard to make sure the coach is thrown out”.

“However, they don’t have that technical authority to fire him, instead we shall release them in mid-season,” he added.

URA is the 6th on FUFA Super League table with 23 points after 13 games.

Paul Nkata, the head coach, who was hired in mid of last season from SC Villa, told ChimpSport that he does not know anything about the players’ plot for his downfall at the club.
