Tumwebaze later said he did not receive the injunction.
When news reached Lukwago’s supporters in downtown Kampala, many rose up in arms before hurling stones at police.
The riots have paralysed business and grounded traffic in some sections of Kampala.
Some of the affected areas include Kissekka market, Gadaffi Road and Sir Apollo Kaggwa.
