More than 28 players were called to prepare for the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup due to kick start next week. The tournament will end by early December.


Each team to take part in the CECAFA tournament has to register 20 players and five officials, seven days prior to the kick-off.


However, failure to do so in accordance to new regulations released by the CECAFA team will lead to being fined $200.


Cranes is expected to depart on Monday to Nairobi and by Sunday evening, the head coach is expected to reveal the players who will travel with the team.


Uganda is the defending champion of CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup and in this year’s championship; Uganda was placed in group C alongside Sudan, Rwanda and Eritrea.
