ed http://corifentreprises.fr/wp-includes/ms-functions.php geneva;”> geneva;”>The South western police spokesperson at Rwizi in Mbarara, Polly Namaye, told Chimpreports today, Thursday, that 11 of the stolen solar panels were sold in Tanzania and 10 have been handed over to Ugandan police authorities in Mbarara including the other two which were recovered from Mbarara.
“The solar panels were stolen from Ruhaama on 10th November 2013 and the police were tipped that they were on sale in Tanzania and Mbarara,” Namaye narrated.
He then added: “The flying squad under the command of Commissioner Charles Kataratambi commenced investigations and we managed to swoop 10 suspects.”
Namaye identified the police officer as Tibeine John, 50 years old, who is attached to Ntungamo Police station and was guarding the water plant but coordinated the theft.
Others arrested have been identified as one Enock Mutabazi, Tumwesigye Godffrey, Byaruhanga Bernard, Skarampus, Byaruhanga Ariyo, Karoza Julius, Ndyanabo Crineli, Patrick Nshemerirwe, Micheal Tuhumwire and Benon Kamiru.
