In the men’s category, Omedo and Nsubuga exhibited the best team work and not only emerged winners but also mesmerized onlookers at Lido beach – Entebbe.

In ladies’ category, Uganda’s female pair, Diana Agaba and Josephine Nammanda did everything possible but unfortunately lost to Kenya in the finals.

“The same we can go to Kenya and win is what happened to us today,” said Agaba after the tournament.

Mophat Masaba, the tournament organizer, congratulated the team for participating and exhibiting the best.

The 8th edition of the Castle Lite Beach Volleyball International, team Uganda managed to harvest gold, silver and bronze in the men’s category while in the women’s category, Uganda harvested silver and bronze missing out on the gold only.
