Mountain climbing and trekking can be experienced at East Africa’s highest mountains for example, Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) and Mount Rwenzori (Uganda).


Virunga Mountains shared by Uganda, Rwanda and DRC are famous for gorilla tracking.

About 300 mountain gorillas inhabit an extinct volcanic region called the Virunga Range along the borders of Rwanda, Uganda, and the DRC in East Africa. No one has ever regretted his visit to this place.

Rwanda and Burundi are not lacking either when it comes to tourist attractions.

Rwanda threatens to outcompete Uganda in gorilla tracking activities especially from the Volcanoes National Park that stretches from the north to Nyanza in the south, Burundi boarder and then on the shores of Lake Tanganyika.
