AON Country Director Mr. Jeremy Kirkland said at the launch: “While you have been filling enrolment forms for the conventional Insurance companies, you have been meeting about 47 questions, 23 of which are about life. With MTN LifeCare Insurance, it is only 4 simple and obvious questions that one has to fill to enroll. No medical checks, no paper work, simply a true insurance revolution.”

He added, “We are keen to be part of the everyday life of our customers. Having a life insurance can provide real financial protection that will help you loved ones to avoid using up their limited savings. Once you have passed on you don’t want to leave behind an insurmountable baggage to you people that even starts with clearing debts for your funeral.”

According to Fonternel, the payout cash upon death of an insured person will be processed via mobile money within 24 hours after placing the claim.

For death outside hospitals where a death certificate cannot be produced, there is a form on the MTN, AON and Jubilee websites that one can downloaded, filled and signed by the deceased LC leaders to confirm the death.
