“We were surprised as KCCA couldn’t raise transport for players to and from Namboole or even give the players money to take them back home, http://consumermedsafety.org/media/widgetkit/widgets/slideshow/layouts/edit.php ” a League official said.
Despite the shock, one of the League organisers told ChimpSport that the League went on well but “we had some difficulties as some of the clubs didn’t appear to take part in the League”.
Among those that failed to turn up were Blue Stars, Kampala International University and Mbarara Netball Club.
The Uganda National Netball League that was halted by the renovation of Nakivubo netball courts resumed last weekend.
For the ‘good of the game’, the League organisers have agreed to meet and decide on how to deal with KCC as well as the others that failed to honour the fixtures.
