The Staff members recently kicked out Ndiege, accusing him of poor leadership and mismanagement of University resources.

Staff members, who are believed to be resisting Ndiege because of his firm stance against corruption, responded to Ndiege’s return by layind down their tools.
Kyambogo University Council on Tuesday gave the striking staff a one-day ultimatum to resume their duties and accept to work with the Vice Chancellor, a directive that was ignored.
