“I am pleased to cement a partnership that has always existed between us at Hima Cement and the Kilembe Mines Golf Club,” Robson said.
Robson added,” the Hima Open is an opportunity for all the golf lovers in the South-Western region. As staff of Hima Cement, it also gives us an opportunity to interact with the community here and the region through the beautiful game of golf.”
The Plant Manager explained that supporting golf is an integral part of the company’s sponsorship plan and provides an opportunity to contribute to the development of Golf in the region and the country at large
Robson added that Hima’s sponsorship of the event shows the company’s commitment to bringing awareness about the game and also strengthen their relationship with Kilembe Golf Club.
The Chairman Kilembe Mines Golf Club Emmanuel Nsubuga thanked Hima Cement for the sponsorship saying that the Open is one of the annual events that are help keep the Club more vibrant.
“We are happy about the sponsorship from Hima but we are also grateful to them for the support they continue to give to the Club. The players coming to Kilembe this weekend can expect to play on a great course as we have maintained it well,” Nsubuga said.
