ampoule geneva; font-size: small;”>While officiating the grand opening of the U -Report great lakes conference in Munyonyo today, Oyo appreciated UNICEF and the Uganda Scouts Association for creating the platform used by youth to express their problems and widening their knowledge.

King Oyo remarked “As the youngest King in the world where the largest population is of youth, I call upon the youth to put in more effort in all that they are do if the world is to develop.”

The youngest king therefore pledged to support the youth in all activities and promised to encourage all the kings in Uganda to support the initiative.

Prof. Maggie Kigozi the chief for Uganda Scouts Association noted that U report was created to allow the youth get involved in the activities of their communities through direct participation.

The four day U-Report Great Lakes Conference under the theme “Scouts fro social Change” from September24 to 27 with 216 delegates expected to particpate in finding solutions to improve welfare of the youths.
