4 Police Impersonators Arrested In Kampala

“They could recover the stolen phones and would later torture the culprits and later extort money from them,” explained Ssenkumbi adding that the phones could not be given to the owners .

The police spokesperson added that two of the suspects will be taken to court and charged with obtaining money by false pretense and impersonation.

“The public should ask those who approach them as security officers, for warrants of arrest and should be in uniform as a first sign and they should say where they are attached for easy identification,” advised Ssenkumbi.
