While meeting primary school heads from Kampala Central Division, Musingwiire noted that most schools in the division don’t care for the hygiene of the children which she noted is harmful to their health.
“I have been shocked by the nasty smell and poor garbage disposal in most schools which puts children at a high risk of getting infected with diseases” explained Musingwiire.
The Town Clerk therefore advised all heads of schools to collaborate with KCCA to ensure collection of garbage from the schools.
“You should not pile rubbish in school compounds,” advised Musingwiire.
The Kampala Central Division Town Clerk therefore urged government aided schools to cooperate with their private counterparts to enhance the standard of education in the country.
