The building which was officially handed over to UAP Holdings chairman Chris Kirubi by the main contractor, CATIC International, is expected to further improve revenue as occupancy continues to grow.

Kirubi expressed gratitude to contractor for doing a great job in the construction of the $30m (sh78bn) structure.

“Uganda being an oil rich nation this building deserves to be the official address for some of the big companies coming to Uganda,” Kirubi remarked at the handover ceremony attended by UAP Insurance chairman Gordon Wavamunno, other UAP directors and members of management recently.

The four-block business park located near Makerere University Business School has eight floors hosting corporate offices in a quiet environment and 3-kms from the Kampala Central Business District. It has a 600 vehicle parking space and beautified compound.

“UAP believes in Uganda and we know Uganda has potential. This is the first project and we know more are coming. This shows that UAP is committed to economic development of Uganda. This is the first business park of its kind in Uganda,” Kirubi stated.
