According to KCCA officials, the team hopes to use the midfielder’s experience to retain the FUFA Super League title and also have an impact on the team’s representation in the CAF Champions League.

However, though both players were cleared by TP Mazembe to look for other clubs, the league defending champions have not formally contacted TP Mazembe requesting for the release of thee midfielder officially.

In an interview with ChimpSport, an official from KCCA noted that the team is working hard to land the midfielder and are trying to secure his International Transfer Certificate before he puts pen to paper for the Lugogo based giants.

The midfielder has been training with KCCA FC for a while but according to reports from DR Congo, the African giants are yet to receive any formal information about Ochan getting a new club to feature for this season.

‘‘We are yet to receive any information about the two Ugandans but we are ready to negotiate with any team of their choice probably if they can inform us officially’, read the statement on the club’s website.

Meanwhile Mike Mutyaba has been training with Vipers but is yet to play any game for the club.
