”We shall imprison all those who buy from the street vendors,’’warned the KCCA Executive Director Jennifer Musisi.

However vendors dealing in scholastic materials were seen taking to most of the streets noting that their sales are to increase during this period.

In an interview with Chimpreports, John Bosco Kiryowa a toilet paper vendor noted that this is the best time for them to make big sales as children go back to school.

”KCCA should leave us for this period of time and we shall later go back to our respective places of work,’’ added Kiryowa.

Kiryowa further noted that the Usafi market where the traders were relocated is far from the city centre making it difficult for the customers to access.

However some traders have cried foul over KCCA enforcement officers who confiscate their goods while sending them off the street
