”Infrastructure like roads and good health services are essential in improving human welfare which leads to development,’’ explained Mayiga.

”The country lacks such infrastructure due to corruption by the leaders,’’ added the Buganda premier.

The Buganda premier therefore noted that the abolition of kingdoms by Obote also hindered the development of those kingdoms and the country at large.

The Katikiro further advised Ugandans to borrow a leaf from the developed countries and make new innovations rather than depending on exported products.

The National Resistance Movement Youth league contributed 3.6 million towards the construction of the Kasubi Royal tombs.
