“Today morning before departure to Morocco, the team had to go for gym work and check out of the hotel by 10am (East African standard time) for the 12pm flight,” said Kalibu.

Mujib Kasule, who is in the advance team, is expected to receive The Cranes in Marrakesh at 5pm.

Coach Micho was expected to name the final 21 man squad after the Wednesday night training in Turkey that was attended by former Sports Minister, Henry Okello Oryem.

Micho was reportedly spoilt for choice.

While in Marrakesh, the team will do some training for purposes of acclimatization.

Meanwhile, Cranes’ fans who are set to travel aboard the State House funded jet to Morocco, have already paid the mandatory $120 to cater for visas and match entry tickets, according to FUFA records officer Haruna Kyobe.
