Briefing President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, Mombasa on Tuesday, MultiChoice Africa Chief Executive Officer Nico Meyer said the company has also opened a modern Super-Sport studio in the country.


At separate meeting, President Kenyatta held talks with African Media Initiative (AMI) Chief Executive Officer Amadou Mahtar.


Mr. Mahtar briefed the President on two upcoming major events AMI is planning to hold in Nairobi and in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.


The two events are the African Media Leaders’ Forum in November this year in Addis Ababa and an International Media Conference in Nairobi in March next year.


AMI is a pan-Africa program that seeks to strengthen the continent’s media sector through advocacy, investments, technology and training in order to increase quality and ensure sustainability of the media in the continent
