The officers were abducted on January 13, 2011 at Gerile AP border post in Wajir South District.

“Efforts are being made to secure the release of other Kenyans still held captive by Al-Shaabab militiamen in Somalia,” states the report.


These militiamen were demanding for the release of “all Muslim prisoners held on so-called terrorism charges in Kenya” or else they execute the Kenyans in their custody.
