The tournament sponsors MTN announced shs 9m for the last four teams that will get into semi-finals.

Patrick Ogwel, who is chief tournament organiser, hailed the team managers for “making good selections of teams to represent their respective regions.”

“According to what I have seen only today and in just one game, my thanks go to team managers and with this we may have a plenty of talent from these teams. I call upon Super League clubs to have delegates here in Hoima for talent scouting which will help their clubs during next season,” said Patrick Ogwel who also doubles as the outgoing vice president in charge of youth football.
