Rwanda Police Top Shots In Uganda

The countries are Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, Djibouti, Zambia, Kenya, Somalia, Ghana, South Sudan, Sudan and the host, Rwanda.

The course offers a Master’s in Peace Studies and Conflict Transformation, combines strategic command and leadership component, Police Routine and Operation Staff Work.

One of the requirements of the course included both internal and external study tours.

Participants were welcomed and briefed by the Inspector General of the Uganda Police Force, Gen. Kale Kayihura, who briefed them on contemporary policing challenges and the strategies used by the Ugandan force to counter them.

Participants also visited different units and departments within the UPF such as the Field Force Unit (FFU), the Counter-terrorism unit, the Kampala Metropolitan Police HQs, and Muyenga Community Police Station.
