According to the letter, Lukwago and other 9 members of the 4GC are alleged to have attended an unlawful 4GC assembly on July 19 at Katonga Road in Kampala.

In a press assembly held at the City Hall in Kampala today Monday, Lukwago noted that he would instead go to the KCCA tribunal to give his side concerning allegations of sabotaging implementation of KCCA programmes.

“Kaweesi and Kayihura know clearly that on that date I am supposed to appear before the tribunal so I won’t go to CIID,’’ stressed the lord mayor.

He therefore noted that “this act by police is an act of intimidation and torture meant to derail me I plan to pins the KCCA Executive Director, Jenifer Musisi during the tribunal.”

“Kayihura and Kaweesi should come to my home or the City Hall and arrest me if they want but I won’t go to Old Kampala,’’ vowed Lukwago.
