Annet Kisomose, one of Kitende officials, told Chimpreports: “We have been defeated with a difference of 2, but I think this has been a wakeup call to the upcoming East African Secondary school games next month and we shall be waiting for them.”

Kitende are the East African Secondary School games netball reigning champions after defeating St Julian last year in Burundi in finals but now they have a task of defending the same trophy.

East African Secondary school games are scheduled for August in Lira starting. They will pit arch rivals St Juliana, St Mary’s Kitende, Kibuli SS and London College, Nansana).
