Addressing journalists during a weekly press conference held a FUFA house in Mengo, http://couponadventures.com/wp-includes/class-wp-locale.php Alex Luganda the FUFA Secretary Legal Committee noted that FUFA is a company by guarantee without any share holders.

“All members of FUFA like the clubs coaches and referees among others have a stake in FUFA but it’s not owned by Mulindwa and Aligaweesa as alleged,’’ stressed Luganda.

He therefore noted that the FUFA general assembly sat and resolved to create a legal arm to deal with issues concerning money from sponsorships and contracts.

Luganda further cited a case between FUFA and the former Cranes tactician Laszlo Czaba where a lot of money was lost due to lack of a contract. He therefore noted that FUFA limited was registered by government.

“No law bars FUFA from becoming a body corporate or limited by guarantee,’’ stressed Luganda.

He therefore cited countries such as Ghana, Algeria and FIFA – the football world football governing body as being companies limited by guarantee.

“The South African Football Association is also a company limited by guarantee and was registered in 1991,’’ stressed the FUFA secretary legal committee, adding, “FIFA was also registered by the Swiss government.”

“There is nothing peculiar that is done outside the law and we shall continue with that,’’ noted Luganda.
