Kabenge Scoffs At Express FC Axe

what is ed geneva; font-size: small;”>According to the club chairperson, troche Francis Buwule, one of the club directors Kabenge engaged the club into friendlies in Tanzania where they played two games against Yanga last week but without the consent from his fellow directors.

The meeting sat on July 10 before releasing a scathing statement dated July 12.

“The club (Express FC) has suspended Kavuma Kabenge from board of directors for bringing club’s name to disrepute, lack of accountability and causing disharmony among the directors.”

It added: “The suspension takes effect immediately and shall remain in force until the next shareholders meeting is convened to ratify the suspension and move outright dismissal.”

Kabenge was quick to fire back, saying he has never been their partner at any moment and that the alleged sacking does not hold water.

Kabenge expressed readiness to proceed with his Express FC under the management of coach Charles ‘Mbuzi’ Ayeko who travelled with the team to Tanzania after Wasswa Bbosa turned down the offer.

For the case of SC Villa there is no sign for the Kisubi and Villa Park factions to unite considering that Fred Muwema, who is the SC Villa president, refused to acknowledge the minister’s advice to form the Uganda Premier League.

Meanwhile, it’s hard to decipher when Alupo’s proposed league will kick off since the registration of clubs and drawing of fixtures are yet to take place.
