Hakim Magombe the other available option for the left back slot was left behind because he did not have a passport.

Proline skipper Yusuf Mukisa who plays at centreback is being considered for the tricky spot.

After failing to secure international friendly games against Iraq, Rwanda and Ethiopia, the Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has opted to test his squad against a local select side posting 3-1 and 2-2 score-lines on Wednesday evening.

While the Cranes have been struggling to have friendly games, their counterparts Taifa Stars have insisted they are ready for the game.

Their coach Kim Poulsen reportedly said that the many games they have played in the 2014 World Cup qualifier have given the team enough practice.

The Taifa Stars will have almost all their players who feature for the senior team, while Cranes will only have Hassan Mawanda Wasswa and Dennis Iguma. The TP Mazembe duo of Mbwawana Samata and Thomas Ulimwengu are the only Tanzania players who are not part of their CHAN team.

Micho’s squad will fly to Tanzania on Thursday morning aboard Air Uganda.
