The UPDF solider who has been in Nigeria for the past three weeks first played at IBB International Golf Club course back in 2010 and her feat, a female golfer parading a 1-handicap fetched her praise among the West Africans.

According to Namakula, her progress was due to the hard work and commitment.

“I put in a lot of time by playing in many big competitions, in many countries and don’t only limit myself to playing in Uganda. This has helped me to make a steady progress in the game,’’ she confessed.

“MTN will continue to support initiatives that will bring out the best out of every individual,” Richard Iweanoge the General Manager, Business Development of MTN Nigeria promised.
