Kisekka management says it has no knowledge of the women working at the market as they claim.
“We are yet to find out the motive behind this, because one of the ladies confessed that they were paid to do this, so as to tarnish police’s name,” said Ssenkumbi.
The arrested include, Aisha Nakilnda who claims to have lost property amounting to Shs 8 million, Hamida Nasimbwa claims her property was worth Shs 5 million and then Florence Kabaganda, a resident of Kamwokya who claims property amounting to Shs 7 million.
The women are currently being held at Central Police Station in Kampala.
Ssenkumbi says that there are no preferred charges on them so far, but are likely to face impersonation.
