City Strike, Ramadhan Push Odeke Fight Ahead

The fight will be rescheduled, according to a statement released by fight promoter Emmanuel Mwesigwa at Hotel Africana.

“The Iranian fighter is a devoted Muslim, he requested to have the fight rescheduled,” Mwesigwa told ChimpSport

“We cannot hold this fight this week cause there is a national strike and then the Moslem community is set for Ramadhan period,” UBU Chairperson Godfrey Kiwanuka added.


“Ramathan is not a year, he will not survive my punches though I wanted to finish him off tomorrow (Friday),” Odeke intimated to ChimpSport in an exclusive phone interview.


Odeke will continue training until the bout is rescheduled though Mwesigwa was defaint when.
