The national side that endured the 1850 km road trip from Kampala to Blantyre due to lack of funding reached Malawi on Sunday morning and are currently residing at the Blantyre Hilton Hotel.
After the 2pm Swaziland clash, Uganda will face Namibia on Wednesday at 4:00pm before meeting pre-tournament favourites South Africa at mid-day Thursday.
The Malawi event is the 3rd edition of Africa’s premier netball showcase and will run for six days (24th-29th June) at the Malawi Youth Centre.
Uganda’s national netball team players and officials had to endure over 1850 kilometres from Kampala to the Malawian Capital of Blantyre by road as the team gets ready to play in the 3rd Edition of the African Nations Challenge Championships.
