Ian Duncan is set to led a troop of about six top Kenyan rally drivers to Kampala as they look to accumulate more Africa championship points in Uganda’s premier race.
Duncan who registered his second victory of the season in the Rift Valley Motor & Sports Club (RVMSC) organized KCB Mobi Bank Rally with a fine display in Baringo County on 8th June this year has already confirmed participation and is set to be joined by Kenyan aces Baldev Chager, Carl Tundo and Quintin Michel among others.
Reigning Uganda national champion Jas Mangat has offered to transport their cars to Uganda and back to Kenya whereas Desh Kananura has offered accommodation for the crews.
Pearl Rally will start on August 16-18 this year but most local drivers may be locked out of it since many haven’t yet registered yet entry is limited to 40 drivers this year.
Super special stage is going to be organized in Busiika where routes have been started to be drawn prior to the event.
