The pre-selection that took place earlier this week attracted over 100 ladies. However, only 22 of these were revealed during the presentation night on Friday.

Of these the top 22 were identified to make it to the Miss Uganda camp at Ndere centre on Saturday June 22 .

The four regional queens; Judith Acayo – northern, Anita Kyarimpa – western, Stella Nantumbwe – Central and Margaret Iwanu – Eastern Uganda have already sailed through to be among the top 22 finalists.

Redd’s Brand Manager-Dorothy Muttu said that this year’s Miss Uganda pageant is bigger and better and further raises its profile to world class standards and to attract participation of more eligible ladies for the pageant.

Redd’s has also stepped up the prizes for this year’s pagenats in which the new Miss Uganda will take home a luxurious Mercedes Benz A-Class, the first ever in the pageant’s history.
