The IFC Vice-President said some of the notable support her organization has provided in the country was in the energy, infrastructure, banking and the agribusiness sectors.
She further informed the President of her organization’s expansion program that entails establishing a regional office in Nairobi to cater for the Eastern and Southern African region.
President Kenyatta, on his part, welcomed the move by IFC to deepen its relationship with Kenya and observed that his Government will continue to work closely with the organization.
The President further urged the corporation to double its support to accelerate the country’s development pace.
The meeting was also attended by the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury Mr. Henry Rotich among other senior Government officials.
