Okurut further congratulated all other candidates upon their participation in the race adding that their effort was not in vain because they cemented NRM’s core value which is to continue entrenching democracy where every Ugandan will explore his or her potential to serve the country.


Mutoni was Thursday night announced the newly elected MP of Butebo constituency with 22,915 votes a head of the other five contenders whose closest opponent Elizabeth Aisu got 1,349 votes.
