Flavia Namakula who claimed the tournament’s individual accolade carded 78, 75 and 78 to spearhead her teammates Jasper Kamukama, Eva Magala and Irene Nakalembe to a third place finish.

Tanzania had won the previous two editions of the East and Central Africa regional tournament finished second behind hosts Zambia while Kenya, Reunion Island and Malawi were fourth, fifth and sixth respectively.

The three-day tournament is intended to help teams in their various regions to prepare for the All Africa Challenge Trophy.
