Players from Nebbi, Arua, Gulu, Lira and Kitgum embraced week two of the annual championship that commence on the 24th May 2013 with a grand opening at Rock Catalina in Nakawa.

Going North, Nebbi winner David Bakku survived Kagoya’s on slaughter when she accidently fouled by potting her last ball (8th black) to finish second but still qualify for the Kampala showdown.

In Gulu, experienced Ociti thrashed his opponent Okello James in the finals.

Winner of this year’s championship will walk away with a brand new car plus two pool tables.

All participants will be awarded with certificates of participation. The winners walked off with sh100,000 with the runners-up pocketing Sh 50,000.

Two players will qualify for the final from each of the 60 playing centers. These will be joined by the eight seeded players bringing the total number of players at the grand finale to 128. Approximately 2500 players are expected to take part in this nationwide tournament.
