“At the end of the day, it is my belief and understanding that we, as different arms of Government, serve the same people. Working together, the executive, legislature and judiciary will take this country to greater heights. That is what Kenyans expect of us,” President Kenyatta said.

The President was speaking on Monday at State House Nairobi when he presided over the swearing-in of Deputy Chief Justice Kalpana Rawal and Secretary to the Cabinet Mr. Francis Kimemia.

Kenyatta congratulated Deputy Chief Justice Rawal and Mr. Kimemia on their appointment, expressing confidence that they will play their individual roles in propelling the country to greater heights.

Said President Kenyatta: “I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind that you are both capable individuals who will be able to help us move forward in transforming this great nation.”

The Head of State emphasized that the path of transformation and development the country has embarked on should be supported by all.
