Kenyatta was speaking Monday at State House, Nairobi while presiding over the swearing-in of Deputy Chief Justice Kalpana Rawal and Secretary to the Cabinet Mr. Francis Kimemia.


The President observed that his Government is in the process of reforming the Public Service in line with the new Constitution which sets out clear roles of the national and county governments.


“We at the national Government must refocus on how we will begin the process of transforming the Public Service in order to ensure that it is both efficient and effective in discharging its mandate,” the Head of State said.


Kenyatta said his Government has prioritized the restructuring of the Provincial Administration in line the new Constitution to ensure Kenyans receive quality services.
